Maarssen, February 25, 2020 – Eurofiber is expanding its portfolio to include software technology SD-WAN. This new service gives organizations access to a fully managed, app-aware, secure network between their physical locations and the cloud.
As the digital transformation continues, organizations are facing a growing need for dynamic architectures in their infrastructure. Flexibility, efficiency and scalability are essential. Instead of the manual adjustments that a Wide Area Network (WAN) requires, SD-WAN relies on smart software that makes it easy to manage and implement changes from a single, central location, sometimes with just a single click. Now organizations can deliver services faster and implement changes in their IT and operating processes quickly and efficiently, scaling their network as needed.
Eurofiber has been a provider of industry-leading open digital infrastructure since 2000 and has years of experience in working with WAN environments. The unique combination of Eurofiber’s fiberoptic network and the latest SD-WAN technology can be leveraged to merge internet and private ethernet into a hybrid network.
Utilizing our own fiberoptic network and datacenters, we provide smart, open, future-proof cloud and connectivity solutions to companies, government bodies and non-profit organizations. Customers have complete freedom to choose the services, applications and providers they need, allowing them to tap into the full potential of digital innovation. Eurofiber has a 37,200 km fiberoptic network covering the Netherlands, Belgium and France and stretching into Germany. This network is expanded by 40 km per week on average. Eurofiber companies Dataplace and Eura DC exploit nine datacenters in the Netherlands and France. Supplementing that vital infrastructure, we also offer interconnectivity between nearly all carrier-neutral datacenters in The Netherlands and Belgium through the DCspine platform. Eurofiber is laying the foundation under the digital society, which is why the Dutch government has assigned Eurofiber the status of ‘vital infrastructure’.
Eurofiber Group consists of: Eurofiber and DCspine (The Netherlands and Belgium), Dataplace (The Netherlands), Eurafibre, ATE and Eura DC (France).
