Dataplace expands to six datacenters across the Netherlands
Alblasserdam – Eurofiber subsidiary Dataplace announces the acquisition of Datacenter Nedzone, effective November 8, 2019. This fourth datacenter acquisition enables Dataplace to strengthen its position in the national datacenter market.
Datacenter Nedzone is located in Steenbergen. It plays an important regional role in providing datacenter services in Brabant and the southern Netherlands. The location will reinforce Dataplace’s presence in western Noord-Brabant and Zeeland in particular, also extending across the border to the Antwerp region. Combined with its objective of providing high-quality services, the datacenter is the ideal complement to Dataplace’s current datacenter portfolio.
Gerben van der Veen, Managing Director of Dataplace: ‘Nedzone has an outstanding reputation, is very customer-focused and is ideally located geographically. We are delighted to add this to our growing portfolio of datacenters in the Netherlands and look forward to working with the team.’ Arco van Bezooijen, Managing Director of Datacenter Nedzone: ‘We are excited to become part of Dataplace. Customers will not notice any change, since all our staff will remain at the datacenter. At the same time, the datacenter can benefit from Dataplace’s strong market position.’
